Keepers Cabin
Keepers Cabin is operated jointly by Daniel Mazurek and Kathryn Mazurek, trading as Keepers Cabin, from Trench Lane, Sale Green, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 7LN. Booking enquiries can be made through the secure request form or by emailing Email bookings.
The accommodation is offered for genuine short-term holiday use only. It must not be used as a person’s sole or main residence.
How a booking is formed
- You submit a booking request with your preferred dates and guest details.
- We check availability and send you a written quote showing the total price, any deposit, payment dates and the cancellation terms applying to that booking.
- You review and accept those terms. A contract is formed only when we issue written confirmation and receive any payment stated as necessary to secure the booking.
Submitting the website form only creates a provisional enquiry. It does not guarantee availability, fix a price or oblige either party to proceed.
Prices and payments
Your written quote will show the complete price and all mandatory charges. Optional extras will be identified separately. Payment instructions and due dates will be provided before you accept the booking. We will never ask you to send card information through the enquiry form.
Accuracy
We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, amenities and availability accurate. Occasionally an amenity may be unavailable because of maintenance or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will tell you about any material change as soon as reasonably possible.
Terms provided before payment
The cancellation schedule applying to your dates will be included in the written quote before you accept or pay. Any cancellation charge will be reasonable and will not exceed our genuine net loss after taking account of costs saved and any amount recovered by re-letting the dates.
If we must cancel because we cannot provide the accommodation, we will refund all accommodation payments made to us. We are not responsible for separate travel or other arrangements, so guests should consider suitable travel insurance.
Requests to change dates are subject to availability and may result in a revised price. Changes are not effective until confirmed by us in writing.
Looking after the cabin
- Check-in is from 15:00 until 00:00; checkout is before 10:00.
- A maximum of four guests may stay. Only guests included in the booking may stay overnight.
- Pets are permitted only when agreed as part of the booking.
- No smoking or vaping inside the cabin. Please use the designated outside smoking area and dispose of smoking materials safely.
- No parties, events or commercial activity without prior written agreement.
- Please use the log burner, firepit, barbecue and EV charging facilities only in accordance with the instructions provided.
- Animals living on the property must not be fed or approached in enclosed areas.
- Guests must take reasonable care of the accommodation and promptly report damage, hazards or faults.
Damage and additional costs
You may be responsible for the reasonable cost of damage, excessive cleaning, missing items or other loss caused deliberately or negligently by you, your visitors or pets. We will provide details and supporting evidence before requesting payment.
Information for your stay
Emergency, fire and appliance instructions are provided at the cabin. Guests must familiarise themselves with the exits and follow safety instructions. Smoke and carbon-monoxide alarms must not be covered, disabled or removed.
The cabin is single-level, but individual access requirements differ. Please ask about door widths, parking, bathroom layout or other access details before confirming so that you can decide whether the accommodation is suitable.
Tell us promptly
Please contact Dan or Kat as soon as possible during your stay if something is wrong, so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and put it right. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or your statutory consumer rights.
Direct bookings are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will normally have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applying where you live.
How we use your information
Daniel Mazurek and Kathryn Mazurek jointly operate Keepers Cabin and are responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
Booking and invoice information
We collect the details you provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, requested dates, numbers of adults and children, pets and any optional message. If a booking proceeds, we also keep booking, invoice, payment, refund and correspondence records. A billing address is collected only when needed to prepare an invoice or credit note.
Newsletter information
If you choose to subscribe, we store your email address while we send a confirmation link. The link expires after 72 hours, and an address that is not confirmed is periodically deleted after 30 days. You are added to the marketing list only after confirming. Consent is our lawful basis. Every campaign includes an unsubscribe link, and you may withdraw consent or ask us to remove your address at any time. We may retain a minimal suppression record where necessary to make sure you are not contacted again.
Why we use it
We use booking information to answer enquiries, check availability, prepare and administer a booking, communicate about your stay, maintain financial records, prevent misuse and establish or defend legal claims. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the accommodation business.
Sharing and international processing
Information is shared only where necessary with service providers supporting the accommodation business. These include OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites service for website hosting and private website records, Google Workspace and Google Sheets for booking administration, Zoho Mail and ZeptoMail for correspondence, Zoho Campaigns when a confirmed list is exported, and Google Analytics only after optional analytics consent is accepted. We do not sell guest or subscriber information. Access to private records is restricted to authorised users.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we rely on the provider’s applicable UK adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. You may contact us for further information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are periodically deleted after 12 months. Booking, invoice, payment and refund records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, accounting, insurance or legal purposes. Optional stay notes are deleted earlier when no longer needed. Consented first-party analytics records are periodically deleted after 30 days. A confirmed newsletter address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, subject to any minimal suppression record needed to respect that request.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to or correction of your information and, where applicable, deletion, restriction or portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and may withdraw marketing or analytics consent at any time. Email Email bookings. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Providing information and automated decisions
Name, contact details and requested dates are needed so we can respond to a booking request; optional notes do not have to be provided. If the necessary details are not supplied, we may be unable to process the request. We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
We may update this information when the booking process or applicable requirements change. The terms agreed with and supplied to you when your booking is confirmed will apply to that booking.
